Yamaha Corporation of America (YCA) offers a full line of musical instruments and audio/visual products to the U.S. market.

Established in 1960 as Yamaha International Corporation, Yamaha Corporation of America (YCA) offers a full line of musical instruments and audio/visual products to the U.S. market. YCA is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Yamaha Corporation, Japan, and is one of the largest global subsidiary companies.

Yamaha Commercial Audio Systems (YCAS) was established in 2006 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of YCA. YCAS offers a growing line of commercial audio products for the US and Canadian markets and distributes Nexo speaker products into the US and Canada.

Yamaha Corporation of America, AV Division, offers a comprehensive line of audio products to the US market, including AV receivers, amplifiers, Blu-ray/CD players, iPod docking systems, headphones, home-theater-in-a-box systems, soundbars and its exclusive line of Digital Sound Projectors.

Within YCA’s Customer Sales & Marketing Group (CSM) there are several sales and marketing divisions, including piano and keyboard products, band and orchestral instruments, live sound and music production products, guitars, drums and consumer products. In addition to these product divisions, YCA has other corporate administrative divisions including Finance, Information Technology, Operations, Human Resources, Customer Financial Services, Customer Experience Group, and Administration.

YCA also manages its substantial artist relations efforts from five US-based facilities: Yamaha Artist Services, Inc. (YASI) in New York City, Yamaha Artist Services Nashville (YASN) in Franklin, TN, Yamaha Artist Services Indianapolis (YASIN), Yamaha Artist Services Burbank (YASB) in Burbank CA, and the Los Angeles Atelier in Buena Park, CA.

The Yamaha Entertainment Group of America was established in 2012 as a boutique, one-stop-shop record label, based in Franklin, TN.

Yamaha Music Interactive (YMIA) became a YCA division in 2013, and markets content, services and music via the yamahamusicsoft.com web site.

The Yamaha Motor Corporation, Ltd., begun in 1955, is a major part of the entire Yamaha group, but is a separately managed business entity from the Yamaha Corporation. The Yamaha Motor Corporation is the second-largest manufacturer of motorcycles in the world. Yamaha Motor Corporation owns its wholly-owned subsidiary in the U.S. called Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA, that is handling not only motorcycles, but also snowmobiles, golf carts, outboard engines, and water vehicles, under the brand name of Yamaha as well.
