IDEMIA, the global leader in Augmented Identity, announces today the launch of MorphoWave Compact, the newest addition to its range of products for frictionless biometric access control. This masterpiece of engineering relies on IDEMIA’s patented, touchless 3D fingerprint technology: it delivers the field-proven performance of the award-wining MorphoWave Tower in a stylish and compact reader, designed for wall-mounted access control and time & attendance applications.
MorphoWave Compact is 86% smaller than MorphoWave Tower, while retaining the same large scanning volume. It acquires four fingers in 3D for maximum accuracy, with one pass of the hand over the sensor. The ergonomic touchless operation delivers an unmatched combination of security, convenience and throughput. MorphoWaveCompact’s reduced size comes with a very competitive cost of ownership, an IP65 rating and a rich feature set to ensure that users can now experience frictionless access everywhere…with a simple wave of the hand.
As the global leader in fingerprint technology for more than four decades, IDEMIA has served the world’s largest users of biometrics. Over the past ten years, IDEMIA has combined tremendous R&D efforts with large-scale, high volume deployments of touchless fingerprint technology, to ensure that frictionless biometric access is a proven reality today.
The newly redesigned Exit Stopper Door Alarm now offers a number of new features (click picture above to view video).
Alongside the audible warning alarm, models now have a flashing LED. The enhancement also includes updated text, universal sound symbols, and there's an area for a second language (which includes 21 label options), allowing the unit to be used globally.
The highly effective Exit Stopper (STI-6400) is easy to install and helps prevent unauthorized use of emergency exits and fire doors. When a protected door is opened, it emits a 95/105 dB alarm and flashes. The door alarm can serve as an inexpensive security device which helps prevent theft.
These new features come standard with all red Exit Stopper models and are available now!

STI's newly redesigned Exit Stopper Door Alarm continues to help solve the problems of unauthorized exits and entries of fire or emergency doors. The multifunction door alarm now flashes while it emits an audible alarm--helping to further deter wrongful use of protected door.
The highly effective Exit Stopper (STI-6400) is easy to install and the stop sign shape helps discourage misuse. When activated, it sounds a warming alarm and now includes a flashing LED. User selects on location the ear piercing alarm volume and length (30 seconds, three minutes or continuous). Another option is annunciator mode. In this mode the alarm will beep several times and reset when the door is closed. When used in alarm mode, a key operated override will silence the alarm and allow authorized exits.
The self-contained alarm includes symbols and 20 labels to warn in two languages. Alarm sounds when turning on or off, has a low battery warning, extended battery life mode (battery included), and has a dry contact Form C relay option. For indoor use only.
